Write Now is Liverpool's first International One Act Play Festival that seeks to support, encourage and celebrate new and original work by creating opportunities for creative talent by providing a platform for theatre which is accessible to all.

From an annual call for script submissions, a panel of adjudicators short-list pieces that are invited to be part of the Festival. Each piece submitted, whether invited to be part of the Festival or otherwise, is guaranteed a minimum of two Adjudicator's comments as feedback in the hope of assisting in the development of their piece.

Founded by Ian Moore, a director, writer and actor who was surprised that a city that gave the world so many recognised playwrights did not have a 'New Writing Festival'.
