Tmesis Theatre is Yorgos Karamalegos and Elinor Randle who met at Hope Street's Physical Theatre Programme in 2002. Together they formed the company and created their first piece 'Tmesis'. Tmesis Theatre have developed a strong reputation nationally and internationally for their innovative,groundbreaking, visually stunning, and though provoking physical theatre work, which is communicative and highly accessible.
Their trilogy (Tmesis, Memento Mori, and Anima) has toured nationally and internationally to critical and popular acclaim. The company's latest piece, The Dreadful Hours, is a collaboration with the Liverpool Everyman and writer Chris Fittock.
Tmesis Theatre also run an annual physical theatre and performance festival, Physical Fest which attracts artists and participants from all over the world.
