Liz Lacey runs Showgirl Productions, which started in 2008 with a successful season of eccentric vintage cabaret sprinkled with saucy burlesque performances, under the banner of Retrosexual, at the Royal Court Theatre.
Liz also worked with Homotopia to stage their opening event for the festival, also at the Royal Court. She has since moved to the luscious Racquet Club in May 2009, and then produced and compered four cabaret shows for Zelig's in Liverpool 1.
Showgirl Productions will appeal to fans of glamour, camp, and comedy, and is influenced by Noel Coward, Busby Berkeley, Cole Porter, and 1930's revue.
Liz is a writer, broadcaster and journalist, and has worked in the creative sector in Liverpool and London for fifteen years.
