Robyn Woolston was born in Solihull, UK but now lives and works in Liverpool.
She studied at graduate level at Plymouth College of Art and Design and John Moores, Liverpool.
She has worked with organisations, and collectives, as diverse as HM Prison Service, BBC, Intel, ITV, Mitsubishi, Birmingham City Council, London Print Studio, Psychologies Magazine, Novas Contemporary Urban Centre and Tenderpixel Gallery, London. Although working predominantly within Installation and Lens-Based approaches, Robyn takes an interdisciplinary approach to her output by creating bespoke interventions to creative commissions.
Her practice also covers documentary, artist book works and print.
Robyn is undertaking an MA by Research within MIRIAD (Manchester Institute for Research and Innovation in Art and Design) during 2009 - 2010:
