Riders of the Ruby Moon is a new production company based in Liverpool. The company is made up of some of Liverpool’s most talented artists from the worlds of musical theatre, film, music and dance. Under the Artistic direction of Patrick Dineen (composer; King Cotton  at Liverpool Empire & 08 People’s Opening)  the company’s participants boast an impressive portfolio having written opera librettos in addition to directing musical theatre, film and tv. Other Ruby Riders include accomplished choreographers, costume designers, creative producers and performers .

They create musical scores for all their events, arranged in-house in our recording studio. All of our dances are individually choreographed and our dramatic scene unique. The range cf expertise amongst our core creative team includes. writing of opera librettos; direction of musical theatre; film and tv musical composition; choreography for stage and film; set and costume design for stage and film; creative production of outdoor festivals; performance in theatre and film and event management. 

The company got off to a flying start in 2009, with The Cherry Blossom Ball and Red Moon Balls selling out at Liverpool’s unity theatre in spring and autumn respectively. The Snow White Ball, held at the Lowry Theatre, Salford was also highly successful. Thanks to its wide range of expertise, the company is able to compose and produce a unique musical score for each of its events. It can also individually tailor choreography, creating a unique atmosphere for each of their productions. The versatile company are able to seamlessly move from song to dance, to dramatic vignette, to side show, treating their audience as special guests wherever they perform.
