It’s not very often we visit the same venue twice in a row but we have a very good reason, as we have an opportunity to see something rather special at Liverpool’s Unity Theatre Unity Theatre as part of Liverpool’s LEAP festival.

New Art Club's shows are a mixture of comedy, live art and dance - serious and silly in equal measure. The company’s new show, The Visible Men, creates a world where the familiar laws of physics are unreliable, where things and people appear, disappear and re-appear somewhere else. With some dancing and some talking, some simple gags and some subtle surprises, New Art Club take your expectations and gently smack them on the cheek with something unexpected like... well if they told you that you'd be expecting it.

The Visible Men was developed from the idea for their Place Prize finalist piece The Short Still Show and is in Liverpool for only one night on Saturday 7th March @ 8pm. We’ll be in 1st floor bar @ 7:30pm.

New Art Club was formed in 2001 by Tom Roden and Pete Shenton and is fuelled by their shared spirit of adventure. Tom and Pete, described as ‘the Morecambe and Wise of dance’ and ‘the Reeves and Mortimer of contemporary choreography’ will be joining culturepool after the show for a drink and a chat.

“Back-achingly, stomach creasingly funny & brilliantly constructed comedy.” Ellie Carr, The Sunday Herald
