Through visual art, poetry, performance, writing, film and discussion the Your Station festival (6th-20th August and FREE) at Metal offers a broad range of responses to this universal theme of equality.

Is everybody born equal? Do we have equality? Is full equality possible? Is it desired? How equal are we? What about difference?

Through organised but spontaneous style discussions, these questions will be explored at two special open community forums hosted by Philosophy In Pubs.

Philosophy In Pubs have been organising and facilitating philosophical discussions in public places in Mersesyide and further afield for ten years now and we’re very happy to be pondering issues of equality with them as part of the festival. No academic or philosophical background is necessary. Just turn up and enjoy.

The discussion will take place on Monday 15th August at 6pm following the previous weeks enquiry.

The events are FREE and include a bite to eat - Join in & have your say, or you can just turn up and listen.
