A chat with the cast in the bar after the show

The 70th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth was celebrated around the world this month and the Royal Court continues the celebration with a musical that tells the story of his life through his words and music.
Bob Eaton’s show was a smash hit, travelling to the West End and Broadway shortly after Lennon’s death but hasn’t been performed in Liverpool since 1982. The show, which originally made the young Mark McGann a star, follows Lennon from the Woolton Church Fete to New York, stopping off in Hamburg and The Cavern along the way.
After the show as part of culturepool’s 2010 Year of Health & Wellbeing project ‘Building On What We’ve Got’, we’ll be catching up with music historian, writer and custodian of John Lennon’s childhood home Mendips, Colin Hall and the cast in the bar area to chat about the show.
Drop in, call 0870 787 1866 or go online to get your £9 tickets using promotional code ‘CULTUREPOOL’.
