If you came along to the culturepool 3rd birthday party you’ll be familiar with Impropriety, the talented troupe of improvisation thesps that have been playing regularly at Mello Mello.  A group of professional and non-professional actors who play out improvisation games to a comic and often surreal end - in a good way! We’ve been charmed by this group since we saw them at Organic Cherry and are extremely honoured to be taking part in their launch party. For those who didn’t get a chance to see them, here’s what they say about their launch night which will give you a taste of what’s in store…

Improv goes legit! After a year’s intensive training, the intrepid Impropriety performers are primed and ready to commit acts of comic brilliance based on your suggestions… yes, your suggestions. Lime your Lights and Grease your Paints, the Impropriety Music Hall of Mirth is at last open for Gaiety, Frolics and Fun!

Psst! Expect an after-show boogie!

So, you get the gist… come along, shout out suggestions for the actors to follow, laugh lots, drink some and then party after!

  Was at Impropriety Launch on 30/1, what a cracking night! Atmosphere was brilliant, met loads of new friends whilst being entertained by the most innovative improvisation company I’ve ever seen, they were 1st class! I haven’t laughed like that in ages - I’m inspired! Well done Culturepool, would never have known about this without you spending the word - can’t wait for next event!

  When I first saw Impropriety at you party at View2 I thought they were realy good, I was wrong! They are FCUKing brilliant. What a strange place the Kaz is, I was expecting a large painted shed but it appears that aliens have dropped an Elizabethen theater into Liverpool.   How lovely to see such good comments on our night… it was a bit hectic but lots of fun in the end. Hopefuly we will be able to do another big event soon (Ideas are afoot!) but we will be continuing with our regular shows @ Mello Mello every other thursday starting tonight thursday the 4th of feb.

  Very interesting, entertaining and different night out! Great venue,suited the event perfectly. 
  I remember going there when it was a club many moons ago.
  Wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it was a very funny night.  Probably enjoyed the ‘competition’ the most, although the other two acts were equally funny.
  The confidence of the performers made the whole night flow really well. 10 out of 10.
