Pulp Idol at Edge Hill was great and we
we're so impressed with the quality of writing (as well as how well the
event is organised!) that we simply can't miss the final on Tuesday 27th
at Coffee Union on Bold St. It won't be a culturepool event but Luan will
be there if anyone fancies going along.
Our next event is part of the Writing on the Wall annual festival and mixes culture with er, beer! A pub crawl with a literary flavour... Real Liverpool could leave your head reeling! Writer Niall Griffiths (Grits, Kelly & Victor, Stump) launches his latest book, Real Liverpool, and leads a cast of writers, playwrights and actors taking you on a tour de force journey through literature, laughter and lager (or bitter, if you prefer). Five pubs, ten performers, and maybe a couple of pints along the way: not to be missed…hic!
