Well, we're back after our break and
looking forward to the next event - see you there!
Over the last couple of years we've
wanted to get involved with the Writing on the Wall festival but didn't
seem to get round to it so we are very excited that we've managed to
organise something this year.
Writing on the Wall (WoW) is a year
long
programme of events culminating in an annual festival that, with schools,
young people, local communities and broader audiences, celebrates writing,
diversity, tolerance, story telling and humour through controversy,
inquiry and debate.
Join us at Edge Hill
station, the the first passenger railway station
in the world, to listen to budding
novelists have their work judged by a panel of judges in Pop Idol style!
We’ll
also have a chance to meet the judges, and chat to them about their
choices and reasons behind them.
This
is a FREE event, just turn up!
If you need further information,
call WoW on 0151 703 0020
We'll be travelling to Edge Hill
Station from Lime Street on Tuesday. If anyone would like to join us
please meet us by the ticket office at 6:10pm. The train leaves at 6:18pm.
Call us on Vinny's mobile (07795 285 080) if you can't see us.
