Join women writers & performers for an evening of celebration. Women's writing through poetry and prose about women's lives: local, international, personal and political.
The 8th March is International Women’s Day and Liverpool is hosting a programme of events to celebrate, reflect and inspire. International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's.
This open mic night is open to women to perform their own work or read poems or prose by their favourite women.
A mixed event - men are welcome to come along, attend, listen, clap and throw money in the charity fundraising pot!
Donations are invited to support international and national women’s charities.
